To our valued customers,

First and foremost, we hope this finds you, your families, your staff and loved ones well as the unprecedented coronavirus (COVID-19) impacts our communities and every aspect of daily life.

We are excited to reopen our Design Showroom, but our top priority above all else is still the health and safety of our employees, their families, as well as our clients and our local communities. To that end, we wanted to inform you of our current operations and decisive steps taken through recommendation from the CDC as well as feedback from our leadership team to insure the well-being of everyone the best we can during this challenging time.

The following is our Worksite Specific Plan and Social Distancing Protocols for conducting business with Drapery Affair.

  • Your safety and health are our priority
  • All staff and clients are not allowed to enter our facility if they have a cough, fever, difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, recent loss of taste or smell, or if they or someone that live with have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
  • Once you enter, a six-foot distance must be maintained between yourself and our Staff at all times. The Floor and displays are clearly marked with blue tape.
  • A face mask is recommended to be worn at all times.
  • Hand sanitizer is provided throughout our facility.
  • Our facility is serviced by EnviroShield®. EnviroShield® offers medical-grade disinfection, eliminating over 99.99% of bacteria and viruses on contact. This includes dangerous bacteria like salmonella and E. coli, common viruses like the cold and flu, and disinfectant-resistant pathogens like MRSA. Even though it’s tough on germs, the disinfectant used in EnviroShield® is gentle on people and the environment. This disinfectant carries the EPA’s highest grade for safety and non-toxicity. It generates no harmful residues, no toxic byproducts, and no harsh or irritating fumes. It’s completely safe for use in any workplace, even those where employees or customers experience respiratory difficulties.
  • While we would love to shake your hand and conduct business, unnecessary physical conduct is not allowed.
  • As possible, all samples, fabrics, and remote controls should be handled by Drapery Affair staff.
  • If items are handled by the public, the designer will guide you where to leave them. All samples will then be safely handled by Staff until they can be sanitized and return to the sales floor. They will not be returned to their display until being cleaned.
  • We can ship samples at no charge directly to your home to minimize contact.
  • We are still available to remote consult via Zoom, Google Duo, FaceTime, and other options.
  • Our Staff regularly cleans and disinfects all high touch surfaces.
  • Contactless payment systems are recommended for all payments.
  • As the virus can live on wood and plastic for five days, any blinds repairs brought in to our facility will be sanitized prior to repair, or if not possible, quarantined for six days prior to servicing the blind.
